Choosing to be healthy..
I have spent alot of time thinking about this one...
I work in a store that promotes and loves curvy girls. (which I LOVE)
I love who and what I am but there are some days that I wish I could run a mile, hike to the top, or just play a game of basketball.
I think of the future.. the children i hope to someday have. Will I be able to keep up with a toddler that runs on an endless supply of energy? Teenagers that have attitude and leave messes everywhere. Will I be healthy enough to live a long life and see my grandchildren?
I can walk a mile, hike super slowly to the top with frequent breaks, and play a easy going game of b-ball. But i can't keep up with some of the people I hold dear.
So that's the goal... run a mile, hike to the top, and practice basketball so that I can actually play a full game!
I started today with food! Having a healthy breakfast is essential! I will pack my lunch and the goal is to take my lunch every single day! No eating out! Fast food is Fast but it also is bad for you. So new rule for life...No take out of any kind unless you are in the company of a friend or family member. Which means no late night stops, no midday runs for food, and no snacks from the gas station! (I know I have a problem :) but the first step is recognition right?)
Today I will change my life! Today I will be more than I was yesterday!! Today....
