My family decided to have a BBQ, because that is super American! I made an apple pie, which really didn't turn out so well.... Kinda dry but I know what not to do... LOL
Aunt Katie brought a cake that looked like a hamburger! Amazing! And let me tell you it tasted so good! Yummy burger cake LOL
I was home and reading a book before the fire works even started! I am turning into an old lady! But after living in Montana and playing with fireworks, watching them just isn't the same! I mean what says freedom more them being able to light your self on fire?
The pie tasted great. Even your failures are really good! And this wasn't a failure. I look forward to whatever you make next.
ReplyDeleteI miss Montana fireworks too. The 4th has turned into my Bah-Humbug! holiday because no matter what you do, it just doesn't compare to what I grew up with
